On the other hand, the month of April 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 42 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $525.2 million during that month.
Of the 377 deals, the deal secured between Global Infrastructure Partners LLC; KKR & Co Inc; KKR Financial Holdings LLC and CyrusOne Inc, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Global Real Estate sector, which was valued at $15,000.0 million and was completed on November 15, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Blackstone Inc; Blackstone Property Partners L.P.; Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. and American Campus Communities Inc, while the third-largest deal was between Blackstone Real Estate Advisors and PS Business Parks Inc. The Blackstone Inc; Blackstone Property Partners L.P.; Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc.-American Campus Communities Inc deal and the Blackstone Real Estate Advisors-PS Business Parks Inc deal were valued at $12,800.0 million and $7,600.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Brookfield Asset Management Inc-alstria office REIT-AG valued at $4,056.8 million, whereas the deal between Pacific Investment Management Co LLC-Columbia Property Trust valued at $3,900.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $54,456.8 million and accounted for nearly 50.75% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 71.91% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $77,165.2 million, which accounted for 44.30% of the total deal size on a global scale.
