Tokyo Electric Power Co Holdings Inc (TEPCO), a subsidiary of nuclear damage compensation and decommissioning facilitation corporation of Japan is an energy utility company. It generates, transmits and distributes electricity, transports fuel, and retails electricity and gas. The company produces power using LNG, heavy oil, crude oil, coal, NGL, LPG, city gas, solar, wind and hydro sources. TEPCO has presence in the entire fuel life cycle, from the procurement of fuel to power generation and sales. It also has interests in various power generation projects and energy related projects other than power generation; and provides consulting services. The company has operations in Japan and other countries; and has service centers in Kanagawa, Tochigi, Tokyo, Gunma, Chiba, Ibaraki, Saitama, Yamanashi and Shizuoka. TEPCO is headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan.
