The number of active job postings in the Power sector of United Kingdom decreased by 4.64% MoM, and decreased by 13.37% since October 2023, reaching 2,054 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 823 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 21.39% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 923 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.24% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 23.3% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 2.12%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.46%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.67% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 0.71%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 943, number of jobs closed stood at 990 and number of active jobs stood at 2,289.
